The Austin Fire Department is currently monitoring a fire that broke out at a northwest Austin apartment complex on Monday night.
According to AFD, crews responded to the scene shortly after 10 p.m. in the 7900 block of San Felipe Boulevard, located near U.S. 183. Upon arrival, firefighters focused on a three-story apartment within the complex.
AFD confirmed the fire was brought under control and was contained to a single apartment, with potential water damage affecting the units below. Crews will continue to check for any remaining hot spots.
