Exciting news for Trader Joe’s enthusiasts: a new store is on its way to Central Texas!
The popular grocery chain is set to open its fourth Austin-area location in Bee Cave. According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new store will be located at the Shops at The Galleria, taking over a space previously occupied by an office supply store.
Construction is projected to begin in February and wrap up by June, although these dates are subject to change.
Currently, Trader Joe’s operates three stores in the Austin area: downtown Austin, northwest Austin, and Rollingwood.
While a company spokesperson confirmed plans for an additional Austin-area store, they did not disclose specific details about the location or opening date.
Known for its unique, branded products, Trader Joe’s offers fan-favorite items such as cauliflower gnocchi, chili lime tortilla chips, soup dumplings, butternut squash mac & cheese, mandarin orange chicken, and its affordable wine selection, famously nicknamed “Two Buck Chuck.”
Bee Cave residents and Central Texans can look forward to this beloved neighborhood grocery chain expanding its footprint in the region!
